I was invited to take a part in a project that is very dear to me and I'm honored to be involved in. Memories is a book project about the memories of people who have survived cancer. Each person who was invited to take part in this would illustrate a story that they would be give as a brief.

I got a story about a man who got cancer only 6 weeks after his daughter was born. I used that as an inspiration. I drew inspiration from his relationship with his new born daughter. He needed to get through this struggle and dark times to be able to watch her blossom and grow up. For me she was his guiding light through all of this. "Live and enjoy every day" from his story is the sentence that touched me the most .
