I recently took part in an exhibition in Brighton. The theme of the exhibition was freakshow. I was heavily inspired by the fascinating promotional posters for the freakshows in 1900, and at the same time inspired by the colors and geometric shapes from basketball cards from the 90's.

I created two fictional freaks with the sideshow names Big brain billy and Schlitzie. Big brain billy was a horribly deformed male with a huge head and was claimed to be the smartest man on earth. Schlitzie was a sideshow freak which was claimed to be one of the last cannibal aztecs alive.
